Our eraser sponges are composed of 100% melamine material by weight, with no detergents or additives. Most importantly, after independent testing of our material samples for SGS and MSDS reports, they were found fully compliant with all regulations relating to presence of hazardous substances, as set by RoHs Directive 2011/65/EU Annex II; recasting 2002/95/EC.
The 'Extra Strength' variant does not involve chemical enhancement; this composition is achieved by a method of hot pressing melamine foam. What this means is that these sponges last longer and provide finer cavities for more effective and efficient cleaning.
